The Houston draft strategy is paying off in spades.

Took Stroud with the second pick in the draft (behind Carolina's pick of Bryce Young) and traded the 12th and 33rd picks to move into the #3 pick of the draft and select Alabama's all everything linebacker, Will Anderson. Both players are playing up to and beyond expectations and leading this team to unexpected heights.

It's hard to land one solid pick. Never mind two. Kudos to the Houston brain trust who pulled those two draft picks off.

Texans also gave up their first/third next year which you would still expect to be pretty high despite their decent start. That’s a ton, he better be a baller for that haul.

Guess we’ll see but there’s probably 5 edge rushers in the world that would justify that.

Atlanta opened -3 for next week and quickly went to -1 versus the Texans as I think the books, and the public, now believe.

And that offense is clicking too. The Midget may never play another down for the Desert Birds. Dobbs has done pretty damned well and Connor is running his ass off.

Appreciate the info re the speed linebackers. I've not seen them play.
